WHAT'S NEW as of August 25th, 2021?
*STOP! Please do not visit the store if you are ill or have been in the last 14 days, have symptoms of Covid-19 (coughing, sneezing, fever), or have been in contact in the last 14 days with someone who has symptoms.
*Store hours are Monday-Saturday from 9:30AM - 5PM, and Sundays 11AM - 5PM. We are closed on stat holidays.
*Limit of 8 adult customers in the store at one time (2 adults per family).
*If shopping with children, please use a baby carrier or stroller for young ones, and hold hands with older children to help keep them out of contact with staff, other customers and products in the store.
*As per the current provincial order on August 25th 2022, masks are once-again mandatory for indoor spaces.
*Please continue to use the hand sanitizing station on entry and social distancing in the store with staff and fellow shoppers.
*Please avoid touching products as much as possible unless you are purchasing them. Need to have a closer look? No problem - please ask a staff member for assistance.
*Contact-free tap payments at till - card payments preferred.
*Rigorous and frequent cleaning procedures of common areas & touch points.
*Virtual baby registry consultations (by Zoom or phone), with in-person 'registry top-ups' available by appointment.
*Some additional items may be excluded from our regular return or exchange policies based on their materials and/or government sanitizing protocols and requirements.
*The Mini Meet Up Play Space will remain closed for the time being. If you're interested in discussing a small private play or party at a later date, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I ARRIVE?
*If there are no more than 8 adult customers in the store when you arrive, please come on in to shop! If we are at capacity, please wait by the sign and maintain social distancing of 2 m in the line up until space permits.
*When you enter, there will be a hand sanitizing station front-and-centre.
*There will be one-way traffic flow in the store that's clearly indicated by arrows. Please follow the signs and maintain social distancing guidelines. Don't hesitate to ask a team member for assistance if you need it. We are there for you and happy to help.
*Please refrain from touching products as much as possible unless you're purchasing them. If you need a hand getting a closer look at colours or options, please let us know and we'll be there to help.
*When you're ready to make your purchase, please come to the till and stand on the 'Please Wait Here' floor sign. We prefer contact-free card payments during this time whenever possible.
*Sorry but there will be no public bathrooms or change tables available for the time being.*
WHAT IS OUR TEAM DOING TO HELP?
*Our staff will be following rigorous cleaning protocols for high traffic areas and touch points.
*If the pin pad is used rather than tap for payment, pin pad surfaces will be disinfected afterwards.
*If ill or symptomatic, staff will remain at home until they receive a negative test result for Covid-19 testing if applicable or until they are symptom-free for 14 days.
*Team members will be required to wash their hands frequently, as well as disinfect their hands after coming in contact with the public or surfaces (restocking shelves, opening the door, processing purchases, moving product etc).
*Our staff will of course continue to wear masks.
*We will continue to offer contactless CURBSIDE pick up for online orders, as well as free local DOORSTEP DELIVERY on orders over $110 pretax from Sooke to Sidney. Local delivery orders are delivered between 8 AM-5PM within 2 business days by our eco-friendly courier, using an electric vehicle. Orders placed before 12 PM are generally delivered next business day.
*We will continue to pick and pack up online orders for Canada Post shipping following government safety guidelines.
