The Clek Foonf convertible car seat is made in Canada and has a strong magnesium frame and easy-to-install rigid LATCH system in forward-facing configuration. For rear-facing installation, the Foonf uses flexible LATCH connectors and a snap-in anti-rebound bar. Both rear- and forward-facing installation have built-in lock-offs, and a patented REACT energy absorption system is designed to slow down the seat in a crash.

The revolutionary REACT safety system reduces the force transmitted to your forward-facing child in a collision. Anti-rebound bar in rear-facing mode improves stability by limiting rotation of the child seat, helping protect your child’s head from impact in the case of a collision. Structural headrest with deep side wings & energy-absorbing foam-lined headrest is connected to the frame using steel rods, providing maximum head protection in a side-impact collision. Energy-absorbing foam layers on both the inside and outside of the frame protect your child by absorbing energy in a side-impact collision, resulting in less force directly upon your child. Foonf is reinforced by a steel and magnesium rigid sub-structure for maximum safety & stability.

The Foonf's unique design improves rear-facing installation in smaller vehicles by taking up less fore-aft space. Foonf boasts a narrow width — under 17 inches at its widest point and 13 inches at the base — making 3-across seating possible. Foonf also includes an easy-to-engage, smooth recline function, making each ride more comfortable.

C Zero Plus fabrics provide permanent protection against stains, moisture and odour-causing bacteria. They are also free of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants. The only thing this fabric doesn't resist is easy cleaning. Fabrics are removable too.
