Ubbi Diaper Pail

Wonderful product. Looks great in the room. Most importantly it keeps the odors locked in.

It's cute but the diaper genie definitely keeps the smell at bay better

Pros:
-keeps the smell out (as long as the door is shut)
-made of metal, which means it doesn't absorb the smell
-if you do forget to empty it for a few days, it can be left outside to air out overnight and is completely odor free by morning
-use any bags you want
-easily fits 2 days' worth of diapers (depending on what bags you use)
-can use with one hand
-child lock (which I didn't appreciate until baby was mobile!)

Cons:
-the smell hits you in the face the minute you open the door and lingers in the room for a while
-not ideal if your baby poops multiple times a day (unless they are breastfed and poops don't smell!)
-plastic grocery bags don't hold many diapers, so you'll still probably want to buy bags
-can rust inside due to condensation from the diapers

Verdict:
I'm glad I bought this pail, since I know plastic pails can begin to absorb the smell and stink even when they are closed and have been emptied. I also love how easy it is to toss a diaper in while keeping one hand on baby. If it had a similar feature to the diaper genie (which blocks the smell of diapers when opening the pail), it would be 5 stars- though we did start putting a container of baking soda & kitty litter at the bottom of our pail which has helped a bit with the odor :)

Love this diaper pail! I find it’s a little on the smaller side (capacity wise). It it really does seal in the smell! Well worth the $ would definitely recommend!
