The Meet Up at Momease

This listing is for a 1st Child Drop In Play Admission with one adult included. Please note that a Sibling or Extra Adult Drop In Play Admission may be purchased separately for an additional $5 + tax. Pre-booked plays are non-refundable and you must show up within 30 minutes of your booked playtime. Missed reservations are easily rescheduled if you can’t make your drop in play - simply contact us PRIOR TO THE START of your booked session in order to take advantage of the rescheduling option. Please note that babies under 6 months are FREE when accompanying an older sibling!

The Mini Meet Up Play Space includes over 200 sq ft of custom, made-in-Canada play equipment for little ones from walking up to 5 years old. From moon-walks, to a double slide, and a large play house with rotating themes for endless imaginary toddler play and dress up time, The Mini Meet Up is a wonderful place to ride out a rainy day or burn out that toddler energy! 

For our tinier tots, The Mini Meet Up Play Space also features some amazing equipment geared towards children from newborn to early walkers. Come bring your little one and visit with a friend; pop by for some baby socialization time and make new friends while you're at it. There is lots of room for tiny tot play and exploration in our large multipurpose area at The Meet Up!

Join us for up to 120 mins of parent-supervised play for children from newborn up to 5 years. We have custom-built & age-appropriate play equipment for your little tot from walking up to 5 years. We also have another open-area multipurpose room with developmental toys & equipment for newborns up to crawlers/early walkers. Parent supervision is required for this drop-in play session. Please no outside food or drink besides water or baby necessities. We also have a dedicated & lovely Parent's Room for feeding or diaper changes as needed!

We are currently open for Drop In Play throughout the week and on Saturdays at The Mini Meet Up (Saturday time slots may be reserved for Birthday Bashes and other private events!). Secure your play spot here (up to 7 days in advance!), or stop by at one of the scheduled play times that works for you (space permitting!). The fee for up to 120 minutes of super-fun drop in play is $10 + tax for your first child, and $5 + tax for a sibling. BIRTHDAY BASHES at The Meet Up

Thank you for your interest in celebrating your little one's special day here at The Meet Up at Momease Baby Boutique! Here's what you can expect with your Birthday Bash booking:

what's included

• a two hour private booking of The Mini Meet Up play space (fully-loaded with awesome play gear for kids from 0 up to 5 years), as well as our multipurpose room
• please inquire if you have older children you'd like to include & we can discuss options
• use of our separate Parent's Room which is equipped with a change table and glider chairs, plus soft, dimmable lighting
• access to a spacious and accessible bathroom
• use of our projector for movie time if desired - think HUGE screen viewing!
• Bluetooth music streaming so you can listen to your fave party tunes
• up to 12 children (please note that additional wee guests are an option and incur a per child fee of $5); we are able to accommodate additional guests for your party booking up to a MAXIMUM ROOM CAPACITY OF 34 PEOPLE
• 12 adults are included with your booking; if you plan to have more than one adult in attendance per child then please contact us for details and confirmation in advance of your party date (please note that an additional fee of $5/extra adult will apply, up to a MAXIMUM ROOM CAPACITY of 34 guests)
• reusable and Earth-friendly tableware by request for your mini guests, including cups, divided plates or open plates
• cake cutting & serving utensils available by request
• a special birthday treat for your child & a complimentary play pass for your little one's next visit to The Meet Up!
• you are free to arrive UP TO 30 minutes prior to the start of your party for set up and decorations, however please note that a staff member will also be in The Meet Up space during this time while we complete the cleaning and set up for your party
• parties may be booked online up to 60 days in advance of event (please note that online bookings close within 7 days of event date)
• please contact us for booking availability if you're looking to book a party with less than 7 days notice

what is the cost

• all of the above is included for $295 + GST
• all parties require a non-refundable 50% deposit at time of booking (please see us in-store if you'd like to book with a 50% deposit)
• non-refundable full payment is due 14 days prior to your event date
• an additional deposit of $100 (up to $150 if you're expecting more than 24 guests) will be preauthorized on your credit card at check in; please note your card will NOT be charged unless incidental fees apply - including sock purchases, additional guest fees, and excessive cleaning charges, should the space not be left tidy and as you found it
• Birthday Bashes are based on 12 children (with 12 adults included); additional children/adults will incur a fee of $5 each, up to a total maximum capacity of 34 guests (but please note that this number of guests may be tight!)

what to bring

• your Birthday Bash Waiver form will be sent to you via email once your booking is complete, or provided to you when you book in-store
• please note that your waiver MUST BE COMPLETED AND RECEIVED IN ADVANCE of your event; please send it back to us via email with e-signatures, or bring it by in person at least 7 days prior to your event
• any snacks or (non-alcoholic) drinks you'd like for the kids or the adults (unfortunately we don't allow any hot drinks at The Meet Up for safety reasons, as well as hard candies, popcorn, gum or nuts)
• your cake or birthday dessert!
• sorry no open-flame candles or sparklers are permitted for fire safety reasons (think LED options instead!)
• any tableware you may need for the adults, and napkins for all your guests
• whatever decorations your little heart (or child) desires (but please consider recyclable options wherever possible!... Did you know that foil balloons are recyclable?)
• sorry no confetti, sparkles or pinatas are allowed as these are VERY difficult for us to remove from the play equipment and specialized rubber flooring
• if you're planning to place decorations on the walls, please use sticky tack or painter's tape only to avoid any damage to the paint
• please note that although we have staff members on site should you need any assistance, all parties are parent-supervised and there is no staff member stationed in The Meet Up space during your private event
• please be aware that we are NOT an allergen-free space & we do have special rubberized flooring in The Meet Up play area
• a staff member will set up a snack/cake table prior to your arrival (we do ask that food not be readily available during the first part of your party to help discourage tiny guests from playing while eating; this keeps little ones safe and helps us maintain our customized play equipment)
• staff will be available to help clean up after your party, but we appreciate you leaving the space as tidy as possible and as you found it; please remember to take home everything that you bring in
• please note that there is no freezer access for cakes (we do have a small bar fridge that can accommodate a small to medium sized cake or other small items in need of refrigeration during your party)

Please note that a Sibling or Extra Adult Drop In Play Admission may be purchased separately for an additional $5 + tax. Plays passes are non-refundable, but do not expire and can be easily rescheduled if you can’t make a pre-booked drop in play - simply contact us PRIOR TO THE START of your booked session & we’ll help you reschedule for another time that works. Once purchased, please call us to book in your plays using your passes, or drop in during a scheduled play to enjoy The Mini Meet Up (space permitting).
